			Anna is a young woman with an uncertain future. Cristina is an old Jewish bookseller with a heart scarred by history. In a strange twist of fate the two women find themselves working together in a book shop in the ghetto of Rome. But one day, hidden amongst old worn books, Anna finds some yellowed letters telling of a love swept away by the tragedy of the Holocaust.
